Battle Lake Public School was recently recognized for the quality of education we provide and the innovative manner in which we provide it.  In 2008-2009, Battle Lake was the only district K-12 in the state to receive distinction from the Minnesota Academic Excellence Foundation.  In June of 2009, we were also presented with the Star of Innovation Award from the Minnesota Association of Secondary School Principals. 

A few highlights of our district include offering free every day, all-day kindergarten.  Over 30 college credit high school courses are housed within our school and we are entering our second year of the Glendalough Academy. Our state test scores consistently rank among the highest in the area and our commitment to providing a rigorous, well-rounded education geared to the challenges of the 21st century is unrivaled.
