Battle Lake School is excited to announce a collaboration with local schools to bring renowned speaker, Marc Mero, to our students and community! All students 6-12th grades will hear Marc speak during the school day. There is a community presentation on February 8th at 7pm at the Ashby Public School - all community members are welcome and encouraged to attend! We hope to see you there!!
On Tuesday, January 23, the top spellers in grades 5-8 competed in the annual Spelling Bee at Battle Lake School. Congratulations to our winner, Evelet Baker!
BPA students receive 56 awards at the Region 7 Conference! Twenty-seven students competed and represented Battle Lake School well, with 23 placing in multiple categories, bringing home 56 awards, and 15 taking first place. Those 23 now advance to the State Conference!

Marc Mero’s tour reaches students and community members at a heart level and gives them tools and inspiration to face everyday challenges and view their lives from a new perspective. Marc shares his captivating journey with audiences worldwide and inspires people to examine their life choices while empowering them to make a difference. Students will hear Marc speak during the day on February 8th, and all community members are welcome and encouraged to attend the community presentation that evening at Ashby Public School!
Last semester, the Farm to Table class was busy!
They made pickled eggs, salsa, jerky, dehydrated fruits, stuffed sausage, butter, yogurt, cheese, and even bread from wheat head to loaf!
The Pre Algebra students measures the circumference and diameters of circles and used their measurements to calculate pi.
