Good News! Lego Club WILL meet tonight, April 26 from 6-7:15pm in the Battle Lake School Media Center!! (The bad news is that this will be the last time we meet for this year.)
We hope to see our Lego enthusiasts (grades 3 and up) tonight!
Reminder: Math MCAs start tomorrow for Grades 3-8 and 11. Adequate sleep, good nutrition, and a positive attitude all lead to success! Thanks for helping your child(ren) start their days off right this week!

Battle Lake Knowledge Bowl Team Advances to State Tournament!
The Battle Lake Knowledge Bowl team advanced to the State Tournament that was held in Brainerd at Cragun’s Resort.
Knowledge Bowl is a competition in which teams of four students are asked scholastic-based questions. The teams can beep in at any time, and they have 12 seconds to discuss the answer.
Members of the state tournament team: Isaac Scherfenberg, Blake Alonzo, August Wicklund, and Morgan Malone. These students used their quick thinking and collaboration skills to advance out of the regional competition. The state tournament was held April 7-8.

Attention Class of 2035! We are planning for YOU!
The 2022 State MSHSL AAA winner is Isaac Scherfenberg! Every year the Minnesota State High School League (MSHSL) chooses a boy and a girl recipient from both single A and double AA schools to win this prestigious title and scholarship. This year the boy’s winner was Isaac Scherfenberg from Region 6A. The 34th Annual Academics, Arts & Athletics award celebration took place March 26, 2022, in Minneapolis. At the ceremony, the MSHSL gathered to celebrate and honor the 32 students selected as "Triple A" award winners from across the state of Minnesota. Please join us in congratulating Isaac for his exceptional achievement in academics, arts, and athletics.
The BPA State Leadership Conference took place, March 10-12 at the Hyatt Regency in Minneapolis. The 12 students competing represented Battle Lake School well, with 7 placing in multiple categories, bringing home 13 awards and 2 taking first place in the entire state! The following students now advance to the National Leadership Conference taking place this May in Dallas, Texas. Blake Alonzo, Isaac Scherfenberg, Grace VanErp, Madison Cameron, Adysen Tysdal, Morgan Malone, and Kyleigh Shebeck. View the image to learn more about this tremendous achievement!
