Ms. Tessa’s 4s Preschool class used M&Ms to make shapes, count, and introduced adding & subtracting! A tasty math lesson!
All after school activities at Battle Lake School have been cancelled for today, Wednesday, February 22, which includes Open Gym for adults.
Due to the predicted weather forecast for tomorrow, Battle Lake School will have an E-Learning Day on Thursday 2/23. All after school activities are also cancelled.

I Love to Read Month updates:
The Coin Drive was a huge success! Students contributed $848.45, which will go toward new books and supplies in our library!
Students continue to make progress on the Reading Challenge sheets; students who complete all 28 challenges will have their names entered into a drawing to Pie Our Principal, next Tuesday, Feb. 28 during our schoolwide Drop Everything and Read time.
This Friday's dress up theme is Team Up for Reading (wear sports gear).

I Love to Read Month
Our coin drive has brought in $92.14 from pennies and nickels! Despite school being closed today, we'll accept dimes and quarters on Thursday, as we strive to reach our $300 goal (and a pie in Mr. Severson's face)! Also, Friday is Dress Like Your Favorite Character day; we love to see our students' creativity!
