Being that the weather officially feels like fall, we thought we'd look back on some amazing things that the Summer Agriculture Class did this year!
Homeschooled youth as well as Battle Lake and Underwood students piloted the first ever Summer Agriculture Class!
All students that took this course are now eligible for FFA! This has been a great partnership for Battle Lake with Underwood schools and homeschooled students! In the class, students learned about seedbed preparation, floriculture, robotics, drone applications, & more!

Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day is an annual event that involves communities from across the country (and globe!) walking and rolling to school on the same day. On October 9, thousands of schools across America—from all 50 sates, the District of Columbia, and Puerto Rico - participated. Over time, this event has become part of a movement for year-round safe routes to school with record breaking participation each October. Check out Battle Lake School students participating in this event!
Walk, Bike & Roll to School Day is Wednesday, October 9! This day is meant to encourage physical activity and promote safety near schools and in neighborhoods. Battle Lake School buses will drop students off at Chief Wenonga and staff will welcome and walk with them!

Mr. Meissner's Robotics class buildt and programmed robots that traveled in patterns designed by the teacher. Objective 1. The robot had to travel 10ft turn around and come back in a straight line. Objective 2. The robot had to travel in a 3x4 rectangle. Take a look!
